Its going to take a new Martin Luther King, Jr. or William Jennings Bryan. Along with a lot of hard work, focus and persistence, of course, but what I am saying is we need another dynamic, eloquent and probably most importantly actually....INDIGNANT spokesperson. Let me restate that. We need a VERY ETHICALLY SELF CONTROLLED and yet simultaneously INDIGNANT spokesperson.
Why do I say this? Well look what King did. Look at what Jennings did. Look at what Roosevelt did with his oratory. They all communicated moral outrage. And correctly so. And people responded to it. Someone once said that the strongest intention in the universe is the intention to be right. That is why its so hard in fact to change another's mind so often....because of their intent to be right. Thats the negative aspect of that truth. But the positive side of it is that people will respond to it....because they WANT to be right. We need the mass of people to awaken. We need the mass of people to become ETHICALLY INDIGNANT. The empirical, and more importantly, the moral facts are on our side. Someone needs to turn up the volume on the immoral dynamics of the current system. Let me restate one more time:
We need a very ethically self controlled and yet simultaneously very indignant spokesperson....who also communicates a beautiful and desirable alternative. That will get and keep people's attention and allegiance.
