Anyone who has read Ellen’s book, The Web of Debt, knows what must be done: the Federal Reserve must become an agency of the government, banks must be required to have 100% reserves for all deposits, the practice of fractional lending must be illegal, the government must have a complete monopoly on issuing all money and the government must create and spend sufficient new money into the economy to offset the interest paid on loans and mortgages and to compensate for population and economic growth.

I believe that everyone will agree that we must get our elected federal representatives and Senators to enact the necessary legislation making those enumerated concepts law.

I propose that every contributor to this forum send a weekly letter or email to his/her Congressman and Senators demanding corrective action on these issues. Copies of the letters and the responses should be posted on the forum. I recommend that copies of the letters be sent to major news organization, magazines and forums.

I further propose that we consider forming a delegation to visit our Congressmen and Senators in Washington. (It’s not difficult for me because I live close to D.C. and I did political work for both Senators from Maryland and for my Congressman)
